Sashik School
Terms of Service
Effective July 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Sashik School — a learning platform for schools and educational organizations available at sashik.school and on per-organization subdomains (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Oleksandr Bilskyi, Ukraine (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, joining a workspace, or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Sashik School lets organizations run their own learning workspace: courses, lessons and interactive assignments, grading and progress tracking, schedules, certificates, gamified rewards with an in-app virtual currency, leaderboards, and optional AI-assisted features (such as drafting assignments and study hints). Each organization’s workspace lives on its own subdomain and is administered by that organization.
2. Accounts and roles
You need an account to use the Service. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. An account can belong to one or more workspaces with a role assigned by the organization (owner, admin, teacher, or student). Organization owners and admins manage their workspace’s members and content and are responsible for having the right to invite them — including, for minors, any consent required from parents or guardians.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Workspaces operate on a plan (including a free trial with limited capacity and paid monthly plans with published prices). Card payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates), acting as merchant of record: Paddle handles the checkout, charges your payment method, applies and remits any applicable taxes, and issues receipts. Paddle’s own buyer terms apply to the payment transaction. Organizations may alternatively be billed manually by agreement.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the workspace’s billing settings; the workspace stays on the paid plan until the end of the period already paid for. If a renewal payment fails, the workspace becomes read-only until payment is restored; prolonged non-payment may lead to suspension. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. We may change plan prices with at least 30 days’ notice before the next renewal.
4. Your content
Organizations and their members keep ownership of the content they create or upload (courses, assignments, submissions, media). You grant us the license needed to host, process, display, and back up that content solely to operate the Service. When AI-assisted features are used, the relevant content excerpts are processed by our AI provider to generate the requested output (see the Privacy Policy); AI output is provided as a draft and should be reviewed by a person.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe others’ rights through the Service;
- upload malicious code or attempt to breach, probe, or overload the Service;
- access other organizations’ data or bypass role restrictions;
- resell or white-label the Service without our written agreement;
- post content that is abusive, discriminatory, or harmful, especially toward minors.
We may suspend accounts or workspaces that materially violate these Terms, normally with prior notice unless the violation creates risk for the Service or its users.
6. Virtual currency
The in-app currency (“sashiki”) and reward items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and exist only as a motivational mechanic inside a workspace. Balances may be adjusted or reset by the organization’s staff and are not our liability.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may improve or change features over time; if a change materially reduces the paid functionality, affected subscribers will be notified in advance.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of the Service is limited to the amount the organization paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time; an organization owner can request deletion of the entire workspace and its data via support. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms. Upon workspace deletion, its content is removed from production systems within a reasonable period, subject to residual copies in backups that expire on their own schedule.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Questions about these Terms: support@sashik.school.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the Service or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
